The Florida DHSMV has three main divisions. The Division of Driver's Licenses issues driver's licenses, and identification cards. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) ensures that automobiles, boats, and other recreational vehicles are properly titled and registerd. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) helps keep Florida's roadways safe through law enforcement, public education, and safety awareness.
